Phillip Jones received his BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. He completed his PhD degree in Computer Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri in January of 2008. His research interests include: adaptable computing systems, reconfigurable hardware, embedded systems, and specialized hardware for application acceleration.

He is a RESEARCH CONSULTANT for Open Acceleration Systems Research.
